If you are looking for a place to do pique nique, Anse des Cascades is the ideal place for you!

This amazing place is located on the east cost of the island (the green part), in the pictureque village of Sainte-Rose. During a long time, the town lived from fishing, the traditional fisher used "canot"(small boat made with wood) to go on sea and get some fish like maccabi, bourse, lail or shark (very appreciate by the natives).

Actually, Anse des Cascades is an old little harbour where you can still find some traditional "canot" or some fisher on the coast.

A fabulous thing about this place? You are just in front of Indan ocean and you can admire the wonderfull waterfalls just by turning your head. Fabulous, isn't it ?

The place is also well adjusted, between the kiosks, one restaurant, park place and some food stands. You are spoiled for choice!

For me this place is full of childhood memories!
